Teach Maths or Science in England as part of a UK Government Supported Program

Why Join

By becoming a Quantum Scholar you’ll be making a huge difference to the lives of so many students in England. The benefits to becoming a Quantum Scholar are exceptional, allowing you to flourish and enjoy teaching to the best of your ability in a new life-changing experience.

With financial support from the Department for Education, Quantum Scholars can offer a range of attractive benefits to teachers looking to work in England.

Teach in a school suited to you
Quantum Scholars are connected to secondary schools across the entire south east England region, some of which are at the forefront of maths and science education. You’ll be carefully matched to a school committed to your development and suited to your character and skill-set.

All round support
You’ll receive nurturing support and individual mentorship from your school and Quantum Scholars network. This includes one-to-one specialist support from a Quantum Scholars leader who will observe your lessons and provide valuable feedback as you settle into your teaching career in England.

Continued Professional Development
Participate in a subject-specific CPD training week before you start teaching and be brought up to speed with the latest maths and science pedagogy. Training takes place at a Russell Group University in London with accommodation paid for by Quantum Scholars. This is also a fabulous chance to meet the entire group of Quantum Scholars, make friends and even find housemates.

Gain an additional Degree
Teachers who become Quantum Scholars are offered the chance to gain an online MSc in Education from the University of Southampton which is part funded by the program.

Visa Assistance
For teachers requiring sponsorship for a work permit, Quantum Scholars can provide valuable assistance during this process through a one-one skype consultation with a fully licensed UK immigration expert. This allows teachers to be walked through the process.
